Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye was between the sticks for Sparta Rotterdam but could not save them from defeat against Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie on Sunday.
Okoye played the entire duration as Sparta Rotterdam lost 2-0 at home to make it six goals conceded in the last two matches for the goalkeeper.
He has also conceded a total of 27 goals in 17 appearances for the Dutch side and failed to keep a clean sheet in his last four games, letting in nine goals in the process.
During the game after a goalless first half, Che Nunnely broke the deadlock for the relegation threatened side in the 67th minute before Mike Tresor scored the second from the penalty spot 11 minutes later.
Sparta Rotterdam slipped to 13th position on the table with 23 points from 23 matches and they are just five point above drop zone.
The defeat extended Sparta Rotterdam’s bad run to five defeats and two draws in the last seven games, including three straight defeats in ten days.
