Sodje wants Eagles to move on after loosing 0-2 to S/Africa

Former Nigeria international, Sam Sodje is hoping the Super Eagles will move on from the defeat they suffered in the hands of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Sodje has urged disappointed Nigerian football faithful to get behind the Super Eagles as they hope to qualify for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations despite the herculean task that the team currently face

Though the Super Eagles lost to South Africa 0-2 in their first AFCON 2019 Qualifiers game in group E and for the first time in an official game, Sodje has stated that it was a heartbreaking game for so many Nigerians, insisting the team could have done better.

Sodje said: “There’s no doubt that loosing to South Africa on home soil is heartbreaking, and so many Nigerians are not happy.

“The defense line was poor, it is very shocking to me that we lost to South Africa and really hurtful.

“We have to forget about what has happened and move on. It’s going to be hard to get the ticket, but we are the Super Eagles so it’s always possible to achieve our aims,”.
