Flying Eagles winger Success Makanjuola is on the verge of securing a move to Spanish La Liga side Leganes of Spain from Water FC of Abuja.
It is believed talks are ongoing between the Spanish club and their Nigerian counterparts for the Poland U-20 World Cup revelation to join his compatriots Chidozie Awaziem and Kenneth Omeruo at the La Liga side.
Makanjuola is currently on duty with the Flying Eagles team at the 12th All Africa Games in Rabat Morocco and head Coach Paul Aigbogun made it clear that he’s banking on the player to help Nigeria to a gold medal finish at the games.
”I have absolute confidence in my boys especially Makanjuola and Emeka Chinoso who scored the equalizer against the host that gave us semi-final ticket. I have actually trust in other lads in the team as well ” said Aigbogun.
If all things go as planned Makanjuola will join the Spanish side before the end of the current European transfer window.
