The Super Eagles have kick started preparations for the FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Liberia and Cape Verde.
The match between Nigeria and Liberia will hold in Morocco and six players are already in the camp.
Veteran Kaiser Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi arrived the camp Monday afternoon, after featuring in the Soweto derby.
Fit again midfielders, Wilfred Ndịdị of Leicester City, and Alex Iwobi of Everton are also in camp.
The number increased when Torino stars Ola Aina and German based duo of Jamilu Collins and Kelvin Akpoguma joined the team.
The other players in camo are Genk striker, Paul Onuachu, Chidera Ejuke and Frank Onyeka.
“Camp opened today with officials based in Nigeria arriving Tangier at 6pm.
“Goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi is the first player to arrive as he flew with the officials from Lagos, Nigeria,” statement on Super Eagles official social media handle reads.
Meanwhile, Captain Ahmed Musa and Chidozie Awaziem are expected to arrive from Turkey later today.
The team will begin training this morning under the watchful eyes of Gernot Rohr and Salisu Yusuf.
The team will take on Liberia on Saturday, before flying back to Nigeria to face the Blue Shacks of Cape Verde on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
