Last time out the Bafana Bafana of South Africa stopped Nigeria from qualifying for the AFCON tournament and the Super Eagles will be hoping to avoid any hiccups ahead of the crunch tie against them as both teams meet in Uyo this weekend.
Super Eagles striker Olanrewaju Kayode has stated that he will do everything possible to score a goal if opportune to play against South Africa as goal scoring is an art he already acquainted himself with right from his club and feels the need to deliver as well for Nigeria. Kayode admitted the expectation from fans but downplayed been under pressure to so meet the expectation of Nigerians.
Meanwhile, CD Feirense of Portugal midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has stated that as much as they acknowledged South Africa’s feat against Nigeria denying Nigeria a place at the 2015 AFCON, he believes there won’t be any threat from the Bafana Bafana national team. Etebo said playing at home and now as an improved national team, South Africa won’t be a threat to Nigeria in Uyo this weekend.
