Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles will do something no other team before them have done at the world cup, former Coach Fanny Amun has predicted.
Nigeria will make its sixth appearance at the world cup tournament since 1994 after the Eagles announced itself on the global stage.
Although he admits the huge gulf in the quality between the 1994 squad – still considered Nigeria’s golden generation – Amun told Brila.net that he expects certain factor including Youth and enthusiasm to spur the current side to greater things.
