Coach of Tanzania U17 National Football team Maalim Salehe has stated that the Serengeti Boys are ready for the challenge of facing Nigeria, Algeria, and Congo ahead of the coming weekend’s commencement of the CAF Africa U17 cup of nations which is slated for Morocco.
Salehe speaking in a chat with brila.net acknowledged Tanzania is the outsider in the group and the enormity of the task before his side against more illustrious opponents in the competition.
He however added that they are hopeful of a chance to succeed with the right level of discipline despite been placed in a very tough group.
“Talking about our group, our group is very tough there are Nigeria, Algeria, and Congo. Those three teams are very tough and I know they always come to this competition. We need discipline more and more discipline. To those teams, it is very important and I know it will be very tough but we prepare a lot for this competition.”
