Team Nigeria and 53 other nations have been listed for 2019 African Games In Morocco holding in Rabat and Casablanca.
Morocco will be competing at the Games for the first time since the 1978 edition in Algeria.
They missed out in the African biggest sports festival due to political reasons before they were readmitted to the body in 2017 and this would be the first time Morocco hosted the event.
Team Nigeria will do battle with the like other giants like Egypt, Moroccoand South Africa in the 21 events already confirmed for the championship.
Also, Ghana will be hosting the Games after for the first time as they were given the nod to stage the 2023 edition by the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) after the withdrawal of Equatorial Guinea in November 2017.
