Maduka Okoye says the Super Eagles game against Egypt is very important and they working hard to be in good shape.
The Eagles will clash with the Mohammed Salah led Pharaoh of Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations Group B opener on the 11th of January.
Both side have have eleven titles between them — with the Pharaoh accountable for seven, while The Super Eagles won three.
“I think it’s important how you enter the tournament, If you enter the tournament with a very good game then they already know about you”, Okoye said, when asked about the game game.
”So I think the first game is going to be very important after that it’s just doing my thing and be at my best.
“It’s a team achievement, we want to get goals and also not concede goals but as goalkeepers, the less goals we concede, the more points for our team”. He said.
