Super Eagles Vice Captain William Troost-Ekong, has praised the atmosphere in the camp ahead of the showdown with Cameroon on Friday.
Ekong insists the new players invited to beef up the squad are blending well with the old guards and expect everyone to be ready for the game.
The Super Eagles trained on Thursday evening under the watchful eyes of Head Coach Gernot Rohr and his assistants ahead of the doubleheader with the Cameroonians.
The three-time African champions will miss the services of some key players for the game, but the coaches will also have the opportunity to see new boys in action.
In a chat with the media after Thursday’s evening training sessions, Ekong said the atmosphere in the camp is great and they are looking ahead to an interesting game.
“It’s been good, we’ve got a lot of new faces in this camp and all of us just want to make sure we have a good game to finish up the season.”
“It’s good to see we have great team spirit and everyone is so happy to be here.” He said.
