The vice president of the athletics federation of Nigeria Tunde Abdulkareem has revealed to sports radio 88.9 Brila FM that he has contemplated resigning his position as vice president of the AFN if not for the fact that his action will deprive his geo-political zone a seat in the board of AFN.
He said his earlier decision was as a result of the lack of progress in AFN for nearly eight years.
Tunde however said ,he later discovered that the lack of progress in Nigeria’s track and field is the lack of proper funding and not the administrators. He said he hopes the next election will bring the needed change to the AFN.
