Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s youth and junior national team Nduka Ugbade has stated that Nigeria and Leicester city of England forward Kelechi Iheanacho is finally fulfilling potential after the former Manchester City youngster continued his impressive run of form with another goal in Leicester’s 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion Thursday night.
Ugbade speaking in a chat with brila.net reckoned that Iheanacho is finally realizing what has been said about his potential and ability as a youngster back then.
He added that the competitiveness lacking in his game is now there and the player is now living up to his true potential.
“For almost about seven years ago I’ve mentioned it. I’ve always talked about competing and I’m not just competing but competing at the highest level of your potential because performance is one, the potential is another one. When you have the potential for success and that success is gained through performance then the potential is fulfilled.”
