Nigeria Super Falcons forward Ini Umotong was on the scoresheet as Brighton won Crystal Palace in their preseason fixture.
Brighton’s Aileen Whelan netted got a brace while Kirsty Barton and Kate Natkiel each got individual goals before Ini Umotong grabbed a solo goal to ensure Brighton got a 5-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Umotong, who was overlooked for the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France signed a new one-year deal last week and will fancy her chances of topflight football next season with Brighton set to play an opener against Bristol City on September 8.
