Francis Uzoho has described as thrilling his return to the national team after almost two years.
Uzoho last featured for the Super Eagles in 2019, where he injured his Achilles and was subsequently ruled out of action for almost eight months.
The 22 year-old however make his return to the starting line up in Tuesday’s 3-0 win over Lesotho in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium.
Since returning to full fitness, Uzoho has been consistent for his Cypriot club, APOEL Nicosia, and the form earned him a recall back to the National team.
He tweeted after Tuesday’s game:
