Watford gaffer Munoz Xisco was full of praises for Emmanuel Dennis and the entire team following impressive performance against Norwich City at the Carrow Road.
Dennis scored the opener, before Ismaila Sarr twice in the second half to give the Hornets the victory after Teemo Pukki had restore parity before the half time break.
The victory brought an end Watford poor run of three consecutive defeats in the Premier League.
Reacting to the result, Munoz said:
“It was a great performance today and the team was in control for long periods of the match,” the 41-year-old said. “But it is one step forward.
“We spoke before the game about needing to be better in both defence and offence, and I think we delivered a very mature display.
“We had a lot of the ball, and we had a lot of chances to score. We also talked about needing to be mature with and without the ball, and I’m really happy with how the whole team did that.
“It’s great to get that first win of the season away from home, and we’re delighted to take back the three points. But we’ve talked about the process and that stays the same going forward.
A second win of the Premier League campaign lifts Watford up to10th in the standings after five matches.
