Chelsea have heaped praise on stand out defender Kenneth Omeruo, following his masterclass performance in the Super Eagles 2-0 win vs Iceland.
Omeruo joined Chelsea in January 2012 from NPFL outfit Sunshine Stars but has yet to make his competitive debut for the Londoners despite obtaining a work permit.

The 24-year-old has been sent out on loan to Turkish clubs Kasımpaşa and Alanyaspor, Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag, and he played for Middlesbrough in the Championship during the 2014-2015 season.
Omeruo penned a contract extension with Chelsea last summer, tying him to the club until June 2020, before he was loaned out to Kasımpaşa for the entirety of last season.
