Ajagun Leads Rain Of Goals By Nigerian Stars

KV Kortrijk midfielder, Abduljeleel Ajagun showed the way to go, on an evening several Nigerian players rained goals for their respective clubs across Europe.

Ajagun was among the goals, as his club outclassed visiting KAA Gent to win 4-1 in the Belgian top flight.

The attacking midfielder added his side’s third goal of the encounter before providing the assist for Kortrijk’s fourth goal scored by Stojanović with 16 minutes left on the clock.

In the Emirates FA Cup second round replay, Inih Effiong was on target for Woking in their 5-2 loss to Peterborough United at ABAX Stadium.

The striker opened the scoring for Woking with barely 19 minutes played before the hosts turned the game on its head.
