Bello Babatunde has parted ways with former Nigeria Professional Football League champions Akwa United.
Babatunde’s departure from the Uyo-based club was confirmed, Monday, by sources close to the player.
It is believed that the midfielder has interests from Egypt and Sweden, both of which is he’s willing to consider them.
The 19 year-old, who signed only signed half a season, wants to experience something new and a chance of playing in Swedish Allsvenskan or Egyptian league is difficult to turn down.
Nothing has been agreed as the player is also keeping his option open.
He helped the Promise Keepers finish 9th in the league last season, with 52 points from 38 matches.
