Tonight Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses go head to head in the premier League as Arsenal and Chelsea clash in what is a London derby.
At the moment Chelsea have been the better side in the league, but at the Emirates Stadium it could swing either way and the Nigerian duo are expected to play some part for their respective clubs.
Since the 2016/17 when Moses became a regular he has come face to face with his Super Eagles teammate, Iwobi, on four occasions.
Two premier League matches, a Community Shield and pre season friendly has seen these two exciting players lock horns in what has often turned out to be exciting encounters.
On Wednesday, when the current PL champions show up at the 59,867 capacity Emirates both Iwobi and Moses will hopefully have their moment.
Meanwhile, only once has either managed to score in this duel. Moses struck in the community shield to give Chelsea the lead before a late equalizer from Sead Kolasinac to force the game into penalties.
Interestingly, it is the first time at Emirates – home ground of Arsenal – that both players could likely come up against each other.
Latest meetings between Iwobi and Moses:
Premier League
Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal
Community Shield
Arsenal 1-1 Chelsea (Arsenal won 4-1 PK)
Club Friendly
Arsenal 0-3 Chelsea
Premier League
Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal
