Former youth international and 2013 U17 World Cup winner, Aliyu Abubakar says he’s ready to make the step up to the Super Eagles, 5 years after helping Nigeria win a record fourth world championship.
Aliyu who has played in Georgia and Finland since turning professional, and currently represents Palloseura Kemi Kings [PS Kemi] in the Finnish first division says he hopes to get a chance with the Super Eagles.
The Center back told Brila.net that he believes his versatility on the pitch has been the upside in his development.
He also admits that with the strength of the quality in the current team, the chance of breaking into the Eagles will depend on “Who’s watching and getting your chance.”
