Defenders basketball club Coach Paul Gwomber has urged Nigerians to pray for his side and not lose hope of possible qualification for the semi-final stage of the 2019 ABL.

Gwomber speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said they retain hopes and still fancy their chance of surprising their host despite the set back of having not picked a win advantage at home.
“We are prepared for this, we have put in all in preparation and we have promised ourselves with qualification. A team not fancied can still make things happen and I want Nigerians to put us in prayers too.”
Nigeria’s Civil defenders play AS Sale of Morocco later today in the race to pick a ticket to the last four of the Africa basketball league.
