Google is celebrating Super Eagles Legend and Ex-Coach, Stephen Okechukwu Keshi with Doodle on their Nigeria platform today being his posthumous birthday.

Brila is taking a look at Google’s celebration of the Late Big Boss as we point out the four notable reasons for the amazing gesture.

Below are the four notable reasons for the gesture:

  1. Stephen Keshi is one of the two people to have won the African Cup of Nations as a player, and as a Manager.
  1. Stephen Keshi made 60 appearances—the second highest ever by any player at the time of Keshi’s retirement in 1995.
  1. Stephen Keshi qualified a relatively little and unknown West Africa Country, Togo to their first ever World Cup.
  1. In 2014, Stephen Keshi further sealed his legacy with the Super Eagles at the World Cup in Brazil, matching the team’s best ever performance at the event with a round of 16 finish.

He passed away in Edo State, Benin City in the morning of the 7th of June, 2016. Stephen died of a heart attack en route the hospital. May his soul Rest in peace.
