It has been confirmed that the Hawks of Togo are in Paris ahead of Today’s friendly against Nigeria squashing any concerns that the friendly could be botched.
The Togo national team like Nigeria are preparing for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
In march, Nigeria were scheduled to play two international friendlies against Senegal and Burkina Faso in England, but the latter pulled out after the Burkinabé Football Federation could not secure entry visas for some players.
In a chat with brila.net during a camp update on Thursday, Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye confirmed the arrival of Claude Le Roy’s men.
He also disclosed that the Eagles Technical Adviser will have the full compliment of 20 players to select from after several intensive training sessions.
Rohr is expected to name his starting line up for the friendly later on Thursday morning after the team meeting.
The match between Nigeria and Togo will kick off at 7pm (6pm Nigerian time) at the Stade Municipal De Saint La Foret in Paris.
