It’s 2-0! World record holder Amusan trails Olympic Champion Camacho-Quinn

Nigeria’s hurdler Tobi Amusan is gradually getting back to her best this season as she finished second in the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, on Friday night.

It was an improved performance from Amusan’s last outing in Ostrava, where she finished third behind Jasmine Camacho-Quinn and Tia Jones.

In Lausanne, the Nigerian gave Camacho-Quinn a run for her money, but managed to finish second (12.47s) behind the Puerto Rican who returned in a time of 12.40s.

Meanwhile American sensation Tia Jones was 3rd in 12.51s.

Amusan, world record holder will hope to return to her best for the World Athletics championship which is slated for Budapest later in the year.
