Nigerian forward, Victor Boniface has made a return to Bayer Leverkusen after a three-month injury lay-off.

Boniface, who has 16 goals and 8 assists in just 23 appearances for Die Werkself, suffered a injury setback in January while preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations.

The young forward underwent surgery and his rehabilitation has gone smoothly as confirmed by recent images of the Nigerian in practice sessions alongside his teammates at the club’s training ground.
