Asisat Oshoala returned to the Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino smoking hot to fire Barcelona to the top of the league with two matches left.
Oshoala who has been out of action for over a month with a thigh injury, was given minutes in the UWCL semi-final first-leg against Bayern Munich at the weekend.
On Wednesday, she showed more hunger and no signs of rustiness as she scored a brace in the 6-2 home win over Sevilla.
Her first came just half an hour after to double Barcelona’s lead after 2017 The Best FIFA Women’s Player, Lieke Martens opened scoring in the 11th minute.
Four minutes after her first, Asisat grabbed a second and her 7th (in six league appearances) since joining the Blaugranes in January.

The victory sees Barcelona edge closer to clinching a double this season, as they are currently top of the table, tied on points with Atletico who have a game in hand.
Fran Sánchez’s side also go into the semi-final second leg with an advantage over Bayern Munich following Sunday’s 1-0 win at the FC Bayern Campus Platz 1, München.
