Moses Simon’s club FC Nantes has announced Raymond Domenech as the new head coach.
The former French senior national team gaffer replaced Christian Gourcuff who was sacked a few weeks ago after a terrible start to the season.
Christian Gourcuff who masterminded Simon Moses’ transfer to the club left Nantes in 16th place after 17 games.
Domenech’s appointment is expected to help improve the fortune of the team in the league and hopefully end the already troubled season on high.
Domenech was at the helms of the affair when France reached the world cup final in 2006 and also when they also crashed out of the competition in the Group stage in the 2010 World Cup.
Simon Moses will be hoping to rediscover the form that won him the club’s player of the year award last season under the new coach.
The Super Eagles winger was involved in Nantes 3 – 0 defeat to Lyon on Wednesday.
