Coach of reigning NPFL champion Enyimba FC Usman Abdallah has expressed satisfaction with his side’s 1-1 draw away to Katsina united coming just a week after the team booked its place in the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup with an away win in South Africa.
Abdallah speaking on the People’s Elephants start to their title defense said it was a satisfactory outing for his side who showed resilience and determination to win but had to eventually settle for a share of the spoil on match day.
“It’s a very hard game and they were out to win. My boys were very courageous, the thing went well as we are going back with something.
The most important thing is not to lose any point around, at least we got one point to go back home with. I’m happy with the result.”
