Rangers new boss Abdul Maikaba has his closed his readiness to justify his appointment to the fans and management of the club.
Maikaba was employed as the new head coach of the club after Salisu Yusuf left to take charge of Kano Pillars.
The former Plateau United gaffer signed a two-year contract with the Flying Antelopes and he’s expected the challenge for the title next season.
In a chat with the Club’s media, Maikaba said he’s happy to team up with the Coal City Club and he’s ready to hit the ground running.
“I am happy to be here. It is a dream of every coach in the country to be in Rangers and I am here today. “
“I am ready to hit the ground running just as I appeal for the corporation of the management in the provision of equipment and logistics that will help in the discharge of these duties. Thank you for this welcome.”
The coach will officially unveiled on Thursday, October 4, 2021, at another brief ceremony.
