Coach of Nigeria’s national women indoor Volleyball team Usman Abdullahi has backed the Nigeria women beach Volleyball team to pick the ticket to the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games as the Nigeria Volleyball Federation continues to intensify its bid to have the final round of hosting the qualifiers awarded to Nigeria.
Abdullahi speaking in a chat with brila.net said he is sure the Nigeria team is young and good enough to make it count after having performed well early this year in Cameroon far before the emergence of the Corona virus which he believes will still be maintained hopefully if Nigeria gets to stage the final round of beach Volleyball Olympic qualifiers.
“It’s for us to win the competition because that’s what we have been doing recently like the President along with his members have been trying to make sure that at least we bring some of these things closer to home. And now we have a team that is a bit young and have been gathering exposure here and there. They were in Cameroon and they did very well. So I believe and have the confidence that they can pick up the ticket.
