Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s D’Tigers Mohammed Abdulrahman has backed the Nigeria men’s basketball national team D’Tigers to bounce back after the team’s opening 84-67 defeat suffered against the Australia men basketball national team just 10 days after losing to the same team in the Olympics build-up game.
Abdulrahman speaking in a chat with brila.net stressed that the team should be able to bounce back in their subsequent games after playing against arguably the group’s biggest opposition already.
He added that he wasn’t so surprised with the defeat and that Nigeria should get what will be needed to scale through in the games left.
