Former assistant coach of Nigeria’s men basketball national team Abdulrahman Mohammed has hailed the resolve of the players of the D’Tigers after bouncing back from the setback of matchday 1 where the team lost 79-71 to Cape Verde to record successive wins against Mali and Uganda and get back on course for the FIBA 2023 world cup.
Abdulrahman speaking in a chat with brila.net said it’s all down certainly to the players despite the crisis rocking the governance of the game in Nigeria and pleased to have seen the response from the team in Benguela after a slow and shaky start to the qualifying series.
