Abia Warriors rock solid defender Adekunle Adeleke is expecting a very good outing from the Super Eagles of Nigeria when they take on Mexico.
The central defender is expected to start when the Super Eagles face the El Tri at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (Los Angeles, California) on 4th July.
The 18-year-old and his teammates have been training for a week now in Abuja ahead of the game, but they are expected to jet out of the country on Wednesday.
Speaking ahead of the game, Adekunle said the coaches have been helping the team with tips, and he’s confident, they will deliver a great show to the fans.
“Training has been good. We have been putting much hardwork,” the no nonsense defender said.
“The coaches have been pushing us because the task ahead is a big one. We are aware of what awaits us against Mexico.”
“We believe by the special grace of God we will come out with a great performance.” He told Super Eagles media.
Adekunle has played 23 matches in the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League.
