Ademola Lookman glad to join Fulham

Former England junior international Ademola Lookman is delighted to back on home soil after completing his transfer to English side Fulham.

Fulham announced the signing of the striker from German club RB Leipzig, on Wednesday after long negotiations with his club.

The former England youth international arrived Craven Cottage on a season-long loan following his lack of regular playing at Leipzig.

Lookman said he decided to join the Cottagers after holding a long chat with the coach, Scott Parker.

”I’m glad to have it over the line and done now. I’m glad I can be here to help the team,” he told LCTv.

“After the conversations, I had with Scott Parker, I got a great feeling, that’s the working relationship I want to have. He’s young and hungry and I’m young and hungry as well so it’s a good match.”

Ademola Lookman was part of England’s 2017 Under-20 World Cup-winning squad, but he has agreed to switch allegiance to Nigeria.

He will team up with another Super Eagles player, Ola Aina who also joined the club from Torino.
