The Super Eagles attacking duo are doing well for their respective teams in the Italian Calcio this season.
Osimhen is the leading scorer in the league with 19 goals for Napoli, while Lookman, who is in his first season in Italy, is topping Atalanta’s goals’ chart with 14.
Peseiro was at the Diego Maradona’s Stadium to watch Napoli play Atalanta on Saturday, and he gave his assessment on the Players.
“Ademola (Lookman) is more technical than Osimhen, more inclined to create chances and he is now also scoring.
“He’s (Lookman) doing really well this year. He grew up with Gasperini and now he’s always playing well and we’re happy with him.”
“He too can aspire to do great things,” said Peseiro. “I would add one thing that applies to both.
“It is no coincidence that they have both grown like this this year. This is because they are both within a good game system.
“Atalanta and Napoli want the ball, they want to play and attack. In these conditions, players like this are exalted. Italian football has changed a lot in recent years.”
Osimhen started the game and assisted Napoli’s first goal scored by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while Lookman surprisingly was dropped from starting XI, but he did come on in the final minutes of the game.
