Ademola Lookman’s poorly executed ‘Panenka’ cost Fulham a point at West Ham

Ademola Lookman had a game to forget as he missed a last-minute penalty in Fulham’s defeat at West Ham United on Saturday.

Ademola Lookman saw his poorly executed attempted Panenka penalty saved by Lukas Fabianski as Fulham slipped to a 1-0 defeat at West Ham.

The Cottagers were behind for many parts of the game after Tomas Soucek fired West Ham in front, however, VAR intervention saw a spot-kick awarded to Fulham for a foul on Tom Cairney.

Ademola stepped forward but saw his weak penalty saves by the goalkeeper as Fulham failed to pick a point and failed to build on their first win against West Brom.

Lookman was inconsolable at the full-time whistle as his team continued their terrible derby form.

Fulham has now failed to win any of their last 16 London derbies in the Premier League, losing 15, in the process.

They have won just a game from eight so far in the premier league this season and currently occupied 17th position on the table.

Ademola’s compatriots, Tosin Adarabioyo and Ola Aina also featured in the game for Fulham.
