Enyimba’s decision to appoint Coach Usman Abd’allah on a two-year contract will make the team stronger and even more capable of winning silverware next season.
Speaking against the backdrop of Abad’allah’s elevation from an interim basis to The Peoples’ Elephants’ full contract, Adetunji said it will make the team stronger.
Adetunji went on to declare in an interview said that the development will make the Aba club in a better position and more than capable of winning silverware next season.
Adetunji further told Brila FM that Abdallah who had initially been handed the reigns on an interim basis after the club parted ways with Paul Aigbogun, said it is due reward for the tactician.
Abd’allah indeed guided the Aba Elephants to the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final and reached the Aiteo Cup semi-final.
Adetunji said: “I am happy that our coach now has a full contract with the club. It is good and is something that will help us to do well.
“In fact, the team is used to the coach’s style and philosophy now and the continuity will greatly help us to fight for honors next season.”
