ADO Deen Haag has through official channel confirmed the invitation of Tyronne Ebuehi by the coach of the senior national team of Nigeria Gernot Rohr for the upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina next month.
Ebuehi was snubbed by coach Rohr in his squad for Nigeria’s last game against Zambia which they won 1-0 to seal their spot at next year World Cup, but as reported by this portal, the 21-year-old has been handed a recall by coach Rohr.
Ebuehi is expected to make his debut for Nigeria when they take on Algeria on the 10th of November in a dead rubber World Cup 2018 Qualifiers tie, and possibly be on the team when they play Argentina four days later.
Comfortable as a right or left fullback, Ebuehi made the team of the week two weeks ago for ADO Den Haag, a form which has earned him a recall to the senior national team of Nigeria.
The right-back is returning to the Super Eagles squad after he was left out of the roster for the World Cup qualifier against Zambia on October 7.
The 21-year-old Ebuehi has been impressive for ADO Den Haag in the Dutch top-flight this season, starting their first ten matches and provided an assist in the penultimate round of matches against VVV Venlo.
The Dutch-born defender will be cap-tied to Nigeria for life, if manager Gernot Rohr hands him his competitive debut against Algeria on November 10.
His only appearance for the Super Eagles to date was in a friendly against Togo on June 1, when he lasted 45 minutes on the pitch.
La Liga club Deportivo de La Coruña have also confirmed the invitation of goalkeeper Francis Uzoho.
