Adorable! Jérôme Boateng Shares Photo of His “Superman” on Father’s Day ( What did Other German Stars do?)

May 25th in Germany, was Father’s Day – for all those wondering when that was going to eventually come up this year – and for German International and World Cup winner, Jérôme Agyenim Boateng nothing or anyone could take Papa’s day in the Sun.

The father of two, who is born to a German Mother and Ghanaian Father, showed how much of a teddy bear he is sharing an adorable photo of his tender self with “Superman” and a baby wrapped in a wool cloth.

Strangely though, it seemed like he was the only German who remembered it was father’s day.

Jérôme’s message read: “My dad is a superman to me, and in my mind he always will be 😊 💪🏾Happy fathers day! #FamilyFirst”

The discrepancy with the Father’s day celebration isn’t really rocket science.

Fathers have the privilege of getting all the attention mainly on May 25 in Germany and 18 June globally.

Yet, in Nigeria like America, fathers will be celebrated on the third Sunday in the month of June.

While in some countries in Europe and Latin America, Father’s day is celebrated on the 19th of March.

For German stars like Mesut Ozil, Marcos Reus and co – even Podolski missed out – well may be next year.
