Super Eagles and katsina United shot-stopper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has said that its time for the Super Eagles players to give a hundred and fifty percent best for the country to enable them to win this year’s Afcon in Egypt.
Ezenwa made this known in an exclusive chat with www.brila.net, said that the Eagles had missed two consecutive Afcon competitions after winning it in South Africa in 2013.
“Going into the camp in Asaba, we have to give our best for this great country, we are not there for two consecutive years now, after winning the competition in 2013”.
“We missed out at the 2015 and 2017 editions so, it’s going to be a great preparation for us, we have to give all we can for this great Nation because it is the time to let people know that we have great talents in this country to showcase in this competition, so going into the camp we need to show a lot of commitments and our best for this great nation ” Ezenwa told brila.net.
The Super Eagles camp has already opened on the 2nd of June Sunday in Asaba with a couple of players already waiting for the full preparation and final camping before the Afcon competition to kick start later this month in Egypt this year.
The Super Eagles are to play a test game in Asaba against Zimbabwe before moving to Alexandria where the team will be based for the competition proper in Egypt.
