Egypt captain Mohamed Salah says Nigeria is blessed with quality players and they are one of the favorites for African Cup of Nations.
Salah is expected to be in action as Egypt and Nigeria will trade tackles in Group D opener in Garoua on Tuesday evening.
Speaking at the post match conference, the Liverpool forward, stated that is blessed with talents in all departments, but the Pharaohs will try their best to win the game.
“Nigeria have players to win the tournament, I am just one player in my team. I don’t take questions and reactions personal, they have good players, but we will try our best to win for our people.”
The last time Egypt met Nigeria in African Cup of Nations was in 2010 and the Pharaohs ran out 3-1 winner.
Chinedu Obasi opened the scoring for Nigeria, but Egypt back to win the game with goals Emad Moateb, Ahmed Hassan and Mohammed Zidane scored.
