AFCON revelation Olisa Ndah won’t have any problem leaving Orlando Pirates for Europe

Mike Makaab insists, Olisa Ndah must focus on his game and ignore reports linking him with a transfer to Europe.

Ndah joined Orlando Pirates in August 2021, after helping Akwa United win their maiden Nigeria Professional Football League title.

The 24-year-old settled quickly into life in the PSL and he’s currently one of the fan favorites at the club.

His impressive performance for the Buccaneers opened the National team door for him and was in the Super Eagles squad to the 2021 African Cup of Nations — making his debut in the last Group game against Guinea Bissau.

The latest report, however, reveals Ndah could be on his way to Europe if the Club receive a suitable offer for him.

Reacting to the reports, Makaab who is the agent of the player, insisted that the Buccaneers are not a selling club, but the deal could be done if the right offer came.

“Pirates never sign players to make a profit, they paid a sizeable transfer fee for him but in retrospect, it was a bargain. But they paid a sizeable fee, I don’t think any big club in the world buys players to sell them,” he told iDiski Times.

“A whole host of players have left Pirates to play in Europe, it’s a matter of the deal being fair to all parties. If Ndah’s market value is X, and it’s a genuine X and I bring an offer to the table that’s more than market value there’s no doubt the chairman will sit with me and have that discussion,” he continued.

Makaab, concluded by urging his client to remain focused on the job at hand.

“He’s always done that. But what I’ve said to Ndah is not to think too far ahead, just focus energies on a growing game by game, week by week and the rest will take care of itself.”
