Rivers United goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai has showered praises on his defenders for not conceding a goal ever since the confederation cup games and the domestic league commenced.
Afelokhai missed the first continental preliminary round game against Futuro Kings due to injury, but was in goal when they trashed the South African side by two unreplied goals.
The former Enyimba safe hands told brila.net that the defenders have been extremely outstanding and they deserve some praises as well.
“Not by my power, the glory is also to my defenders for ensuring we didn’t conceded a goal, because if they are not doing the right things we wouldn’t be talking about clean sheets today,” He told Brila.net.
