Oladapo Afolayan admits St Pauli didn’t play well against SSV Jahn Regensburg, despite grinding out a win.
Afolayan was in action as St Pauli won 1-0 at home for the ninth time in a row in the second of half of the Bundelisga 2.
“We were a bit lucky . But it also makes a good team that you then win games like this,” said Oladapo Afolayan.
“We definitely want to be in double figures, we have to improve significantly in the next game, because that’s possibly the hardest game for us what we’ve had so far.” He said.
Meanwhile Afolayan’s compatriot, Afeez Aremu watched the entirety of the match from the bench.
The former Flying Eagles midfielder will be aiming to be back in action when St Pauli takes on The FC St. Heidenheim this weekend.
