Nigeria women basketball team Power forward Aisha Balarabe has welcomed the challenge of Nigeria’s next opponent Congo Dr ahead of today’s quarter-final clash at the ongoing women Afrobasket in Senegal.
Balarabe speaking in a chat with brila.net said D’Tigress will continue to take their opponent one step at a time and will continue to do what they do best which is coming together as a strong unit, give their all in the match and play to win once again.
“We’re taking it one step at a time, so by the grace of God, we are going to continue what we know how to do best. And what we do best is come together, play as a team and just deliver. So by the grace of God I know we are still going to play and win, give out all our best and we will see the result.”
Nigeria faces Congo DR by 12:30noon today 15th August 2019.
