Agali in Germany to watch Jamilu Collins play – Rohr

Technical adviser of Super Eagles Gernot Rohr has revealed Victor Agali was in Germany to watch new Super Eagles sensation Jamilu Colins playing for his Club Paderborn 07 on Friday

Reports in the local media has it that SC Paderborn 07 left back Jamilu Collins is nursing an injury and hereby a major doubt for the Eagles‘s important 2019 AFCON qualifiers against South Africa, a news the defender debunked to brila.net.


Rohr confirmed one of the team’s scout Victor Agali was in the stadium to watch Colins as Paderborn hosted Holstein Kiel in the German 2nd Bundesliga on Friday night.

Speaking about the performance of the defender as Paderborn played 4-4 with their visitors , the Franco-German football tacticiansaid he’s happy the player is fit.

“Collins is okay and not injured, he will play on Friday against Holstein Kiel. Victor Agali is in Germany for his diploma and willwatch the match”, Rohr stated.

The Eagles Coach is in final stages preparations for the all important 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against the Bafana Bafana of south Africa in Johannesburg November 17.
