Simy Nwankwo is having a difficult time at his Serie B team, Benevento but his agent Domenico Beraldi said, quitting isn’t an option.
Nwankwo dropped down the perking order, at the club and has quality game time difficult to come by.
He has managed to make just nine appearances this season, failing to find the back of the net.
Media reports however has it that, the striker could quit the club this January, but his agent has dismissed the reports.
“Nwankwo’s exit is not even an option, he is focused on his season in Benevento, where he is confident of obtaining good results with his teammates and the coach, with whom he gets on very well,” Beraldi told Pianeta.
“He wants to stay to prove his worth, hoping he has put behind him some minor muscle injuries which have held him back a bit so far. At the end of the season, as always, we will evaluate the best for him.”
Nwankwo who scored 20 goals in 38 games for Crotone in the Serie A two seasons ago, will hope to rediscover his form in 2023.
