Ahmed Musa celebrates Saudi Arabia’s shocking win over Argentina

Following Saudi Arabia’s victory over Argentina, Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has sent a heartfelt message to the entire country.

Musa, who had a spell with Al Nasr in the Saudi Arabian Professional league, congratulated the team for the massive achievement.

Recall, Herve Renard’s men came from behind to stun Argentina 2-1 in the opening Group C game of the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Leo Messi gave Argentina the lead from the spot, before the underdogs turned the game around in the second half with Saleh Alshehri (48′) and Saleh Aldawsari (53′); scored the equalizer and winner respectively.

Saudi Arabia ended Argentina’s 36-game unbeaten run in the process, and Ahmed couldn’t hide his joy as he celebrated with the Green Falcons fans.

Saudi Arabia are top of the Group with three points, two above Poland and Mexico who played goalless in their game, while Argentina occupy bottom place.
