Assistant coach of Nigeria’s women basketball national team Peter Ahmedu had stated that worries about the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on basketball should be jettisoned.
Ahmedu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the Covid-19 pandemic has impeded the calendar of basketball activities in Nigeria with regards to the league for the women and even the men but hopes that chiefly amongst many is to have everyone return in good health as soon as the Government gives the all-clear for sports activities to resume.
“It will affects in many ways but let’s give God the glory, we are hoping that at the time we all resume, everybody will be in good health and that is the most important thing rather than getting worried or counting the losses caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.”
