Senegalese Coach Aicha Henriette Ndaye has refused to throw in the towel following the defeat to Nigeria in the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
The Senegalese lost 3-1 at home to Falconets on Saturday and they needs a miracle in the second to snatch the World Cup ticket .
Flourish Sabastine scored a perfect hat-trick to put Nigeria in control of the tie, before the Senegalese pulled one back .
In chat with CAF.online ahead of the second leg, Aicha Henriettestated that they lost because of lack of enough information on the Nigerians.
She added that , it is ‘possible’ they can overturn the 3-1 loss suffered yesterday.
“Nothing is impossible, we will continue to believe in ourselves despite this defeat (3-1) in the first leg, especially since we can improve on several aspects.
“At first, we must correct all the mistakes made in the first leg, and also now, we are no longer going into the unknown when we lacked information on this Nigerian team,” she said on CAF.
The second leg will be played at the Samuel Ogbemidia Stadium in Benin City, Nigeria.
